Has anybody had issues with the CD's jamming into the system?

I have 3 CD's in there, and it is jammed. Won't play, eject or anything.

Make a grinding sound like it is trying to get them free.

Any tips?

Any help with taking the system out? Is it hard? Any instructions on the web?

Thanks for the help.

I've had my '02 for about a month now and a cd already jammed twice while trying to eject. The 2nd time was just the other day.
Here's what I did: I couldn't get the cd to eject and as it shuffled to the selected slot it made that grinding sound you described. I was able to hold the little doors open and look inside the player. I saw the very edge of the cd and it looked as though it was off track or something. As I propped the doors open with a small and thin ruler I used a small pair of tweezers to reach in and grasp the cd. It was a major pain, NO room to work with, I even had to bend my tweezers so that I could insert them into the slot and be able to get ahold of the cd. Then as I grasped the cd real tight with the tweezers, I had to hold down the little silver roller things (not sure what they are called) that are on each side to get the cd to come out because they were blocking it. To hold them down I used the ruler and another small object for the other side. The cd pulled straight out, it was very maticulous, but it only took me about 20 mins. The cd was a bit scratched from the tweezers but it came out w/o damaging the player. Now if it happens again I know exactly how to do it lol. Just use very small/thin items to get in there.
Well I hope this helps. I'd at least try it, it could save you having to pay to fix it and spend a ton of cash.
Good luck!

Had the same problem with mine, only once. Its ok with auto eject but when you shuffle and try to eject sometimes it sends two out. Just be real slow with the buttons and wait for all the springing and pinging and everything else to stop.
