My brother-in-law just bought a 2001 Bullit. He is trying to buy an owners manual for it. Is there a special Bullit owners manual for that car? Thanks for any info.

There wasn't one for the Bullitt or Mach 1.

There was a brochure for the Bullitt which happens to be available on ebay:

Thanks for responding. We did get him the brochure. But I guess there was no special owners manual for the Bullit model. It seems there was just the owners manual for the 2001 Mustang.

 

Anyone seen the press release packet for the Bullitt anywhere? You used to be able to find them on Ebay but I haven't seen one since I bought my Bullitt. I think blueovalnews used to carry them as well but I think they ran out and were a little pricey.

i saw a press package go on eBay about two weeks ago. unfortuanately my acct was still locked out (but that's been taken care of since). so they are still out there...

as far as AutoArt's stuff, just be cautious. i bought one from them about 3 weeks ago. not the Bullitt model itself, but one that was advertised as a 2004 GT. It had black Bullitt wheels, and all the styling cues from the actual Bullitt (no side scoops, no spoiler, hood scoop, quarter window, etc), so i bought it. i was a little disappointed. it had all the Bullitt stuff, even had the sill plates, and a Bullitt badge on the back, (although it had a 40th anniv fender badge)... the interior was almost accurate, except for the white faced guages and a Cobra steering wheel. Also, a quick look under the hood revealed a DOHC cobra motor. So, all in all, it is actually a Muttstang, with bits and pieces of GT, Bullitt, and Cobra... i like it though, it's something different. I still plan on owning a full out Bullitt model, as well as a replica of the original from the movie...

 

I don't recall there being "Bullitt Owner's Manual". What Bullitt # is your brother-in-laws Bullitt. If it's #2371, then I have the original window sticker for it. True Blue #2371 used to be mine.

 

I saw the die cast for the Bullitt somewhere not long ago. I will have to retrace my steps and find out.
