Hey all,
what size rims are on the gt? 17x9? What would be the max tire u can put on it? I'm looking to get these rims but can i use the original 245/45/17 tire? they are saying to use the 275/40/17 tire.

Stock rims are 17x8. Are you talking about http://www.americanmuscle.com/17x8-bullitt-black.html

ok thanx guys.. i got 245/40/17 original tires so i want to put on the 17x8's. will that work? No i dont have the 275 tire.

go w/a bigger tire!!
I had my stock tri-bars on my car. I bought a set of Cobra R’s from another Mustang owner. My previous wheels were 17 X 8. These are 17 X 9’s. I the guy said my 245/45 would work. They do, but I think it looks like crap though!! I just cannot afford to buy new tires. These were almost brand new, so I am in a pickle!
