Depends on whats already done to the exhaust, when i had mine done i got high flow cats and original 40 flowmasters thrown on, it was loud and i had a little bit of drone, when i got my headers put on, the drone is pretty much gone and its louder and deeper on the outside. Magnaflows, Borlas will be quieter in the car, but will give a rasp, im not a fan of rasp myself love the sound of chambered mufflers over those. It also depends on the kind of intake you have, if you have stock its gonna be ok, if you take out the silencer and throw a k&n in or go with any other CAI it will give the exhaust a deeper tone as well. every little thing with induction to till the exhaust leaves will determine what kind of sound your going for, high flow cats, H-pipe X pipe Magnaflow style mufflers, champered mufflers, the pipe size it all will effect the tone and sound.

Magnaflow is the best sound for any mustang in my opinion. They have chambered or straight thru mufflers, depends how loud you want. I don't believe the straight thru is unbearable in my opinion

magnaflow isnt truly a chambered muffler, the muffler your thinking of is a muffler with a pipe with little holes in it for the sound to be absorbed by the fiberglass packing, that is not a true chambered muffler, tho the magnapacks are more free flowing than the regular magnaflow. I had them on my Tbird, muffler placement was at the back, and the mags sounded awesome, however for some reason on the stang i personally think it has too much rasp for my liking. something about a flowmaster original 40 that just does it for me, its that old school roar, tho when they rust thru im replacing them with either the super 44's or spintechs.
