Ok sence 1994 I have always loved the Saleen S351. I was a huge fan back then. But until 2 yrs ago i thought saleen stopped production in 1998. Because i thought that was the last year the 351 was built. Well i ran across some people saying in 1999 saleen had a couple s351s built in the new body style with the 351 still. I was surprised and tried to find information out about these few s351's but never could really find anything. I did find pictures. So if you have/own/or know some information on these cars please shed some light on them for me. Like what is difference between the s281 and the s351 besides the engine. I noticed the wing was a lil diff. Also what hp/tq numbers did these cars put down? How much did they run $$$ whise? Whats 1/4 mile times? Just shed some light on these Beautiful cars for me.

Yeah, 99 had a S-351 with a supercharger. It put down an advertised 495HP and 495 lbs. tq. with times varying from low 12's to mid 11's. I've been looking for a 351 to drop into my '00 GT but w/o the supercharger and the only option so far is to go with Saleen but those guys want $20,000 for the kit (forget that!).

I've been to Sean Hyland and they have some nice blocks but I can't find my 351
