:scratch: I have a 1998 GT Automatic when i rev up the engine it seems to idle down slow also when I get on it it seems to hesitate for a few seconds kinda like it doesn't wana shift not sure if anyone knows whats going on here.

what rpm does it shift at? the stock tach is off anyways and it takes a few seconds to ake it up to the rpm desired. like if themotor is revvin 8k and the tach will say 5k cuz it is slow. Explain your problem for me? I am unsure on what u mean by it hesitating....

Like when I rev it to 3000 rpm it comes down real slow. I just found my intake manafold was spit and bought a new one today getting ready to put it on I hope that was the problem it was also leaking coolant but when you gun it to go it hessitates for about 2 sec before it really goes..

People have more problems with the 96-98 GT mod motor intakes, they seem like a POS (the intake)
