Thumbs up

I have someone interested in my brand new Cobra motor out of my wrecked car and we were wondering if the install will be easy. I assume that it will fit in the engine bay fine, but will it require any special wiring or other connections? The 1996 is the newest Mustang I've ever worked on so I'm not at all familiar with the 2 recent body styles.

I haven't even tried that swap but know the differences Ford has made over the years. This will not be a plug & play upgrade. I am sure there will be wiring issues and the 2002 computer will not run the car. If you try to use the 96 computer then you will run into other problems because I believe there are other things tied into the '02 computer that will not be supported by the 96 processor.
