What type of oil do I put in it? (weight) I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said that I have to make sure about weights and stuff... SVOPaul watch your pm box.
t-5, ford didnt use the t-45 till 96-98.
94-95 cars used a specific T-5 made for those years. They use a special bellhousing and a longer input shaft to work with the new design of the SN-95 chassis. Standard ATF is fine and you need around 3-4 quarts IIRC.

Ok, well I bought ATF and now I'm trying to open the **** thing to get the fluid in. Believe it or not it is incredibly difficult. Is there any way other than through the bolt in the side (the one that is kinda like an allen bolt, but it has 12 sides.) I've been trying to work that bolt out for a day now, and it isn't getting any easier. Any help guys?
unbolt the shifter from inside the car and pour it in there and it's 3.5 qts my owners manual says to use dextron III with mercron dont take the bolt out that has the yellow tag next to it unless you want to completely take the trany out and put all the parts back in

And now we have fluid in the car... But seats are still not bolted down. So no test drive still.

+1 haha.
I wouldn't know what smoother is though, unless I had this stuff in first.
Hopefully doing the seat stuff in the very near future.
