If you think about what he was trying to accomplish, this is pretty nice.

Think '70 Boss 302:

And then check out this car:
  • Shaker Scoop
  • Mach 1 hood
  • Tribar in the grille
  • SOHC 281 stripes
  • 2003 Cobra front bumper
  • Saleen side scoops
  • Rear window louvers
  • Mach 1 wheels
  • Blacked out decklid and taillights

I'm not crazy about the stripe, but the Cobra bumper cover looks good!

Looks ok to me, it's hard to apply the retro looks that pay homage to the old Stangs on the new edge style Stangs. Like the one person with teh new edge Eleanor clone, I think it looks pretty cool and different but somethings just not quite right. It's like marrying the old school design and styling clues but not going over the top is a cool idea in theory but tough to do in reality. Just my .02

I can see what he was trying to accomplish, but IMO, it just doesn't "do it' for me. Maybe if he'd started with an Azure Blue car., and stayed closer to the original stripe dimension and font....

Nice idea though!

I kind of like the looks of the Tail Treatment. I can't tell if that is the Honey Comb painted black, or just paint.

i just asked burningman to do a photochop of my orange gt with a similar look. but with the factory hoodscoop. since it looks more like the scoop off of the Boss 429. and w/o the srtipes down the sides of the fenders .love the cobra bumper. the mach 1 wheels dont look right with the car IMO

Hmmm the Boss ALMOST looks like an 05 v6......besides the engine though....hmmm...that would have been a better project. Of course I'm just one opinion anyways.

But remember the 05 v6 Boss.......or GT foglamp delete......you heard it here first.

the blue one makes mr drool

the gray one makes me want to redo the side stripes to just the ones on the bottom, like the Mach has.

I love the back of it though, with the blacked out tail lights. I agree and if it was azure blue, it would've been SOOOOO much better...
