Wasn't there a tan/gold color in that time frame?
There was a gold color. I think it was called Aztec Gold and was offered in '97 and again in a 2000 (not sure if it was the same gold or a different shade....anyone?). [/b][/quote]
1997: Aztec Gold - Dark, Rough

2000: Sunburst Gold - Light, Shinier, Looks better

Ok. I am mad. I just posted the stats for Jsgmuzzy. It included the answer to his question. I spent about 45 minutes figuring it out and typing it. It was about as long as grtpmkn's last three posts put together with all the math included. My computer came up with some error message. I Xed out of the box. I clicked back onto the site and went to check my message. No message. It didn't post and was lost in the cyber-space of the internet. So. Here is the answer once more. If my math is correct, there were 880 Bright Atlantic Blue Ford Mustang V6 convertibles produced in the year 2000. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be in my frickin' room pulling my frickin' hair from my frickin' head.
Thanks one of 880!! (that is going in my signature!!!)

Well done on the effort, hows the bald spot coming on??

lol, i can sure try! here goes nothin! ok! for every 120 stangs produced in 1999, there was one BAB stang produced! and for every 9 stangs produced (excluding cobra models) in 1999, there was 1 GT vert produced. so, if i'm correct, there were 975 Bright Atlantic Blue Ford Mustang GT convertibles produced in the year 1999!

Looks like you've both got semi-rare 'Stangs! I'd hold on to 'em!

Dude, As far as I know, there were only around 1000 BAB mustangs made in all bodystyles in 99, so I would assume that GT verts could only be about 200 ish max?

Cheers anyway (not taking anything away from your methods, they seem pretty slick!)

James

Woops! I'll re-check my work, hold on. Ok, sorry, I was in a rush. The right answer is 106. Not sure if this is exactly right either but it's probly close. Sorry bout that man! Yea, 106 seems about right if you compare the numbers...

My dad has an Iris F-150 Flareside w/ a 302 V-8. It is a nice color on his truck, but kinda girly on Mustangs. I wonder if a GT was ever made in Iris.
