I have a BBK CAI on my 02. It works great. The hardest part of the install was getting the filter on the end. You will have to crawl under the car reach up in the fender well to get it on. Definately worth it though.
I can tell a big diffrence in HP plus slightly better gas milage.

I bought a Mac intake (and exhaust!) for mine, and I am very please- but I had/have the same problems dcpirani is having- the filter sits in the fender well. And it is a PAIN to clean and install it.
