How much more HP do Magna Flows offer over Flowmasters?

It minimal. A few horsepower, but they are also a little quieter, which I like more on a V6. It doesnt scream to much on the top end, until you loose the cats of course.

I also want to install some HIDs. Would I have to buy a kit or is it just a matter of swapping the bulbs?

^^+1 most HID's take 25,000-40,000 volts to light up. The kits come with a ballast that ramps the voltage up to that

Lol doing a termi swap is going to cost you a lot of $$$$ never mind that the motor itself goes for around 7-10k.....better off just buying a better car to go fast in for that kind of money. /thread

I would defiantly go with a blower on the sixxer, be unique and a sleeper.

I vote for the cheaper ways. If you have the money for a swap you wouldn't have bought a v6 and then ask to do a swap that's flushing your money away. You can get a 03-04 cobra for 18-25k used.

Yes, I'm putting a twin lobe blower/supercharger whichever you want to call it, on it.

That's about the same numbers of a bone stock GT though. Kind doesn't seem worth it to me but if that's. what the op wants then go for it.

450 and still only running in the 14's kind of a waste to me. Put a supercharger on a GT and you'll be running in the 12's.....and stage 2 cams to that mix and a good set of drag radials. Like I said you can make power cheaper on a v8 so why waste the money?

After installing the CAI, throttle body, shift kit, dual exhaust, and tune, will I have any problems passing smog? I live in California.

He only has about $6000 in the car. He traded a New Holland skid steer for it.
