I don't think they even make one specifically for the v6 either.

SSM makes an adapter for the M112, and I'm fairly certain that it would also allow you to run a KB or whipple if you so desired.

I found a 1992 mustang thunderbird 3.8L complete motor today with a supercharger for 450$, the supercharger looks to be in pretty good condition and works, the engine has a lot of rust but I wouldn't use it anyway. Would it be worth buying?

Research it a little. I know its not just a bolt and go. I think you need the intake, fuel rails, injectors, maybe some other stuff. Having the whole motor will make it easier.

However from what I remember reading years ago, its not really worth it. It s a small blower and won't produce a lot of boost. But that's not a bad price and won't hurt you either.

I asked the guy a bunch of questions and I'm waiting for his reply. I know I'll be safe withit which is what I like, how much hp do you think it'll make? I'm at around 185ish now.

I'd say at least 300, with supporting mods and decent tune. The super coupe made 255 hp and 315+ torque with a pulley and retune so should be plenty.

Well the Supercoupe made 210 HP from the factory. Now granted, they didnt breath as well but I would count on much more then that at the wheels.

The Super Coupe's comes equipped with a 3.8 liter V-6 powerplant that is force-fed with an Eaton Corporation supercharger. The 8.2 to 1 compression ratio, combined with six computer controlled sequentially fuel injectors, completes the well rounded underhood package. While running at a maximum 15,600 rpm's, the supercharger provides 12 psi of boost and as a resultant it develops 210 bhp at 4000 engine rpm's. The engine develops 315 lb-ft of torque at 2600 rpm. The supercharged V-6 delivers ample power without much noise but an underdrive kit and a performance chip are available to boost the horsepower rating to 255 bhp.

Wow thanks man! 255bhp sounds really good! Especially from a V6 for 450$!

I would guesstimate you'll end up spending a little more than that to get it all right, it will defiantly be pretty sweet done, very torquey

I will personally start with a CAI, TB, Dual Cat Back Exhaust, and a tune for now. $4300 for a procharger not counting the installation and tune sounds expensive for now. As far as the exhaust goes, which brand of of cat back style exhaust should I go with? I was thinking of going with Flowmaster or Magnaflow, I'm leaning towards Flowmaster right now.

My vote is for Magnaflows. They arent as loud, but they have been proven to give more hp then the Flowmasters. But I also tend to like their sound more.
