Alright pros, i was wondering about all your opinions about something.

we decided to clean up a 6cyl mustang for my lil sis instead of purchasing another car. we figured we could pump it up a bit with the money we save. i suggested purchasing a 99+ 6cyl engine / AOD package from Mustang Parts Specialties. the tranny costs $500 and the engine costs $800.

We were thinking about a v6 to v8 swap but it would cost too much. what do you guys think about this new idea? is it possible? and cost efficient?

Thanks All.

truthfully if you are going through all that trouble to swap out V6 and tranny i would check into the cost of the 99+ V8 probably wouldnt be much more. and the trans will work with either engine.

but i am just a speed freak so my opinion is probably skewed anyway
