Splash guards

Why would someone decided to remove splash guards ?

The front inner fenders? If so probably to remove unwanted weight, but they don't weigh that much to begin with.

If you hit a big enough puddle I'm sure it could. There are also some sensors in the wheel wells too.

Helps if you want to run bigger then 275 tires as well.

Most people have no trouble running 275s up front. Plus the cobras come stock with 275s and they have the inner fenders.

But they do have trouble with anything bigger then 275s

On both my cars, my 275s rub a little a full turn, not a big issue, but anything bigger would rub pretty good.

Id be surprised to see one on a street car, but track Mustangs regularly run 315s up front and even with spacers they can still rub.
