That 5.0 swap, so I get the engine the AODE transmission and just get 8.8 rear end? Then computer for. Both engine trany? Done?

You also need to the engine wiring harness if you go with EFI.

As far as transmission I want an automatic. Would I need a different driveshaft? Could I use my stock rear end at first I'm pretty anxious about this swap and wanna start ASAP

I'm getting my tax returns and I plan to get a decent 5.0 in a healthy condition and plant to rebuild make it "shiny and black" and drop that right in with the k member ill also be looking for what k member 99-00 gt ?

With a 5.0 use your stock K member with 94-95 gt motor mounts. As far as a transmission look for a 86-92 AOD that uses a cable to control the shifting

yes keep your stock k member the v6 and 5.0 used the same k member, just different motor mounts

Do you currently have a 5speed?

Either way, I think the input shaft lengths are different. Pretty sure you need a transmission for a 302

I seen a donor car at the wreck yard it was a carburated 5.8 with a standard fox body it still ran just was sitting. Looked pretty fair the engine was pretty good too has cam

I'm going to start ripping out the v6 starting next week is there any write up on how On remove it?

Its pretty straight forward. Unplug the harness, remove you coolant, fuel, etc lines, intake, driveshaft, unhook shifter and wiring. Probably will be easier to remove the radiator and front bumper as well.
