new fuel door
Just a quick question maybe someone can answer. If not, I can probably figure it out myself this weekend:
I am planning on installing an alumnium fuel door (Buillet or Mach1 style?) this weekend. I can't find any instillation instructions online (yet), and no instructions were provided. Can anyone help me out?

I owned a 2001 Bullitt. Later I bought an 03 DSG Mach1. I liked the look of the fuel door on my Bullitt and I know it will look equally good on my Mach1. Back in 2002, I bought the Bullitt Fuel Door from FourValve.com for $79, plus $10 shipping.
Installing a Bullitt fuel door is easy. Takes only about 15 minutes.
You just remove the original fuel door by removing two torx head screws/bolts in the area of the hinge, and the new door is secured in place using two bolts (supplied with the door) and two nuts and star washers (that you can buy from Lowe's). It's very simple and no drilling!
Also, you do have to remove the two rubber caps. They are just bonded (glued) to the screw heads. They just pull off. Be sure to save them along with your original door.

Thanks for the quick down and dirty! Sounds simple enough... I'm sur I can find some way to screw it up!
I got the fuel door from http://v6mustangstuff.com/
