go with 3.73 gears they help out the low end power/acceleration and total performance a ton. Buy a set of 3.73s (or 4.10s if ur auto) and a TLOK!!

if you have an auto go with 4.10s and a tlok when you upgrade, it will be .6~ off your times if pre 99 and about .3-.4 for 99+ thats the best bang out there minus a blower or heads/cam/intakes.

if you have 1500 to spend i would buy heads/cam/intakes from www.rpm-mustangs.com with a dyno tune you are looking at 250hp and tq (bhp not rwhp) on manual pre 99 and 99+ that usually puts down 220-240rwhptq~

HMM... More low end power, in a V-6 Stang. Last I checked the solution to that was the V-8 in the GT for the extra 3 thousand.

I own an 04 V-6 because it is a V-6 (fuel economy, more reliable etc). I am not sure I understand purchasing a V-6 and making thousands of dollars of mods when you could just buy a V-8 for less.

But thats just me.
