intake and downloader
I recently purchased a 2000 V6 and i have a few buddies that have done some work on a few mustangs around the same years, but wondering the best products to put into mine?

Dual exhaust, short ram intake, coilovers/performance shocks and struts, definitely a short throw shifter, and definitely a flash tuner like the predator. I have all this now on my 02 6, and my car is sick i tell you...SICK!!! People ask me all the time if i did a 4.6 swap. Gears And tlok will be in soon. I went with 3.73s to save a little gas and maintain daily driveability, but many people go with 4.10s or higher for more of an acceleration boost.
No matter where you ask, 90 percent of responders will tell you to do these things first in some order. I recommend exhaust and intake then suspension then tune then gears and tlok (or an 8.8 rearend swap if you fet lucky and find one at a decent price). The short throw is cheap and u can install in 20 min, and i would do this asap becauze it is much better than thr crappy stock shifter in mustangs. If you are patient and wise, you will install your own suspension also to save money. Also the preinstalled performance tune on a predator works great and you can use it to adjust for bigger gears instead of having to purchase a recalibration or w/e, And when you do decide to go for thd bigger numbers, you can get a custom or dyno tune also. Btw, dont spend xtra money on a custom built exhaust. Better to bargain shop for a magnaflow dual or i prefer flowmaster, then have them installed by a reputable shop that wont try to skimp you on the welding.

I have a mustang v6 2001 5speed with intake h pipes ford racing clutch some cams that came with the car and a tuner an let me tell you something mustang v6 play no games when it comes to small tunes that ****ing pony got power lol my bro has a s2k ap1 intak hks exsust an a hondata an he is no where near me I'm piling up a nutter mustang this week a nother v6 as a daily driver so I can turn that pony in to a mustang love stangs
