Hey i just got my 2002 Mustang 3.8L and i was thinking of upgrading my engine a bit. do you think that the option c and option e packages do you think their worth it or is it BS? opionions plz!!

congreats on your new car, what color exterior/interior?
Option C you need to look out for with the bigger throttle body on a stock upper intake manifold its been dyno proven in 5.0 mustang magazine that they lost 5hp and i forget how many ftlbs of torque with stock manifold our stock 60mm TB flows a little more then it should anyways..your best bet i think would be buy a cold air intake kit ..they're all pretty much the same, and do UDP ( underdrive pulleys ) you'll get pretty good outcome withthat then what you would with option C

i love my new V6 tho. its yellow with black strips and has a the mustang lettering on the rear bymber done black. inside is just standard cloth but otherwise fully loaded
but ya i just wanted a bit more juice thats all. not a drag racer :P
