After deciding to fix some rust issues (to be done next Wednesday), I began to expand and re-think the exterior mods I've been waiting to do since I bought the car two years ago.

My only current mods are sunroof, tinted windows (both installed before it was mine), Mach 1 grill delete, and red calipers.

I just went to the shop and talked to the Ford dealer that they order from and will have a Mach 1 chin spoiler and Bullitt side scoops painted and installed.

I think the color I have is pretty comparable to the Dark Highland Green Bullitt so, It should turn out pretty good.

Any comments or recommendations?

Very nice ride Scott , hope mine can run alongside ponies like yours when I'm done. I agree with all of your suggestions except the GT hood scoop . Ideally I would like a diff. hood, maybe like the 04 v6's. My wheels bother me all of the time, guess I'll just have to save up again after I've recouped from my current endeavour.

Good job making your car stand out in those pics. Thats not the stock intake is it?

thanks a lot it just takes a lotta time and effort ya know, everything good takes time sometimes longer then others but well worth the wait.My stockers bother me as well dont feel bad haha hopefully ill have them swapped out soon as well. my intake isnt stock its the KN FIPK system i personally love it, as for my manifold , alternator , water pump and ac compressor i did all that polishing myself by hand ( as i described how to do on page 2 ) which is a good investment since you only have to spend $ on a few small things + its a good eye turner at shows. but good luck on your mods if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Here's the result, still waiting on the chin spoiler to come in. Anyone know anything about letting the paint cure, like when I can wash and/or wax it again?

Last one. First pics outside (daylight), second garage (night florescent). Think they matched the color pretty well. Still needs to be cleaned up a little from the buffing compound left behind. Overall I'm impressed and would recommend Amherst Collision to anyone in the Buffalo area .

usually what body shops do is leave it cure overnight then let it air dry and cure fully for about 3 days ...so id say give it a few days before you clean it up

That sucks, 6-year-old Mustang and rust problems already?
