I'm trying to decide between two different CAI's.

This BBK...
http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-cai-v6-46.html

And this generic one...
http://www.americanmuscle.com/muv6coairins.html

I want whatever gives me the best sound and most power. I'm open to suggestions, but keep them no more than 200 bucks!

Cold air intakes don't really give you that much power. Go for what looks best.

I know, it just needs a little more get up and go. And sound.

Then forget the intake and go with a tune.

I'm not going for a lot of power or sound, even just an extra 10 horses would be okay.

Cai alone will get you maybe 3-5 HP. Not 10

The CAI is good for about 10-15 MAX. The American Muscle will whistle a little. The BBK has less intake niose.

You will definitely see less noise with the BBK. We offer a forum discount on BBK products if that helps at all, shoot me a PM and I can quote it out for you.

I have never installed or had any experience with the American Muscle generic intakes so I cannot speak for them but we receive great feedback on all the BBK intakes we sell.

Try to stay away from chrome cold air intakes more so if you have a GT
The chrome Heats up more than the PVC one would.
The PVC cold air intake will in theory keep the air coldest and have better effects
