Does anyone know if the Cobra Independent Rear Suspension can be installed on a V6 Mustang? Has anyone seen an install?

Also, is it possible to install one in a 1994-1998 V6 Mustang?

 

A cobra IRS will fit any mustang from 1979-2004. including the V6.

Its possible you would need a custom length driveshaft depending on aplication.

 

I believe the chassis are all the same. It will probably require a little work and a new driveshaft, but it can be done. The V6 and V8 chassis are the same, so if you buy the V8 install kit you should be able to do it. You will probably also need an ECU tuner to reflash your ECU with the proper gear ratios etc. Your exhaust will not fit either, so you will either need it custom made, or buy an H Pipe and add either a stock or aftermarket cobra exhaust.
