CD player ate 5 cd's today

I had a chance to drive the car I bought last week. I loaded 5 CDs in the radio and it tells me cd error and won't play or even reject them.
Any tricks to making it give them back???

Grab a hammer? The only possibility might be when you first start the car to try to eject them. Every now and then it might catch just right.

I assume you mean the 6-CD changer. First, disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes, might not take that long but just to be sure. When you re connect the battery the unit should cycle through all six slots, find any CDs and then stop. If you get that far try ejecting them now, one at a time and follow the directions on the screen. If that does not work you can remove the unit from the dash and remove the top. You can get them out that way.
