Hey all. Has anyone has their air conditioning system fail on their 1995 v-6??? Mine has, and am not sure how to go about trying to diagnose the problem. I have already taken it to a mechanic, who has replaced the manifold assembly line, but its still not working. The line was where hubby and I thought the leak was....now it looks like its coming from the compressor. The mechanic wants to do a 'dye test' to check and see where the leak is coming from.....is this a good idea???? HELP PLEASE!!!! I don't want to spend money I don't have on this mechanic if I am not doing it right. It looks like oil IS indeed leaking from behind the A/C clutch...so am I to assume that the compressor IS bad??? If so, is it wise to have the system flushed, then fixed....PLEASE HELP ANYONE!! Thanks! Tammy
