3.9L sputter

i have a 2004 3.9L auto. i have a little over 100k miles. i have a p1336 code which in crank sensor but it has been on for months and caused no noticeable problems, but that is the only cel code i am getting. last week my car started to sputter. i changed the plugs, the plugs were in bad shape but it did not help the problem. after that i changed my fuel filter, that didnt help. i cleaned the maf sensor and intake filter, that also did not help. i put seafoam in the motor and in the tank, that didnt make a difference either. the only thing i can think is the coil pack but ive read a couple other people who needed to change the coil pack was getting misfire codes which i am not getting. i ran out of ideas of what it could be. does anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks,
Tom

You've done everything I would have suggested. Have you taken it to a shop to have them read the problem codes?

Why not replace the crank sensor?

(And cam sensor while you're at it)

I have a code checker myself and the only thing that came up was the crank sensor but it has been on since before the sputtering. i plan to change the crank sensor i just want to get the sputtering sorted out first.
thanks,
tom
