2000 V6 Gear shift button Sticking!

I have an Automatic 2000 v6 mustang, I can still press the button to shift from park but it takes a lot of pressure, this happened out of nowhere one day. Anyone know how to fix this?

Let a shop replace your shifter cable.

Probably your cable, shouldn't be hard to replace.
