1999 Ford Mustang GT Convertible - 190,000 miles
I am considering buying a 1999 Ford Mustang GT Convertible w/ 190,000 miles on it. I have a friend who is a Toyota mechanic that will be checking it out with me, but just curious if you all had any input on it.
The Blue Book ranges from 4200 (fair) to 5600 (excellent). It appears to be in very good shape. I will attach pictures from the ad, as well as the ad itself.
"1999 Mustang GT convertible, automatic transmission. 190,000 miles, brand new convertible top, brakes and rotors, leather interior, CD and cassette player, power drivers seat, power windows, power locks. Motor was rebuilt at 95,000 miles. $3500 OBO, no trades. Car has a clear title"
I plan on trying to get it for less than $3500. Do you guys think this is a fair price based on the blue book value and miles? I would most likely try to trade/sell it within the year. I just need a cheap car right now while I job search.
Here is the link to the specs on KBB.
