The 86 had many minor mods, and there were alot of them, I will compile a list a try to post it ASAP, but the 86 motor was the same as the 87 except the heads, which were changed to 90 heads.

what im saying is that you said a "pretty stock" 86 ran a 12.2 now it has "many minor mods" if it has a lot of mods, than sure it can run a 12.2

hello again,

The car had alot more mods then what I mentioned before, SOME mods are.

underdrive pullies
91 heads
Custom World Class T-5
3:73 rear Gears
Ram Air kit that goes draws cold air from lower bumper area
BFG Comp T/A Tires
Full Chrome 2 1/2 inch exhause consisting of
1 5/8 Shorty Headers
Off road H pipe
BBk tail pipes
Dynomax mufflers
65mm Throttle body
24lb injectors
PRO 5.0 Shifter
Speed Shiftin driver (not a mod but it helps)
There were a few more mods, but not an awful lot more
Keep in mind the speed is so high because this run was made on the BFG tires
The other mods were small and the car DID have a stock suspension

i personally prefer a hatch over the notch, but i also prefer the late foxes compared to the early. so, notch it was. also, the notch looks like a very "clean" car.

I have had both notches and hatches. I like the 91 lx . Nice clean look
My 91 lx 5.0 5spd 3.08 rear ran 14.1-14.3 consistent
My 90 gt 5.0 5 spd 3.08 rear subframe connectors ran 14.2-14.5
Both were 100% stock except for the silencer removed .I speed shifted both of
These cars. I will check this weekend to see if I can find my time slips so I can post them for you .
I ran both at Lebanon Valley Raceway One year apart.
These were fun cars to drive.Looking for another notch as i want to try a supercharged 5.0 now.
