Vert frame connectors

Changed the rack on the 93 today. While undoing the V shaped connectors under the car, couldnt help but wonder if they actually do anything. Anyone just take em off?

I put em back in. Just dont see where they do much. Thinking about welding in subframes and trashing the bolted stuff.

I fabbed new connectors out of 1x1x1/8 tubing and also fabbed some sub frame connectors. My vert rides like a tank now. Lol
