The last time I replaced my pulleys, about 10 years ago I did not put the alternator pulley on because it gave some problems with the battery. So i'm just going to put on the Harmonic and Water pump. My question is does anyone know the size belt to use??? Remember, this is without the Alternator pulley installed. I remember going on alot of trips to the auto store to find the right one. Thanks.

 

Here is my setup:

BBK Steel underdrives on crank & w/P
FFI overdriven pulley on a 1995 3G alternator
Still retain the A/C compressor & Smog

New belt length is 895
Stock belt length is 905

 

have always used the alternator pulley on my 86 and 92. never had any charging problems. and both had stock replacement batteries and alternators.
