Tuning question

Can you plug a laptop into a stock ecu for an 87 Fox to tune or does the ecu have to be replaced? What about tuning programs? A friend of mine is running FAST but its not the stock ECU. This is for a Vortech 5.0.

Thanks guys!

Stock Fox computer SD/Mass Air ECU? No. Only add-on to Fox EEC-IV with that capability that can be recalled off the top of my head is TwEECer RT. May want to try checking The Turbo Forums - there's a pretty good variety of aftermarket EFI ECU knowledge there.
