Anyone know where I can find a 93 cd radio besides looking in a junk yard?

That's probably going to be a tough find! I have seen them on eBay from time to time, though. I was lucky to buy an NOS '94 CD/radio from a mechanic friend a few years ago.

It fits & hooks up fine but there is no provision for the plastic storage box on the '94 unit. It took a little fabrication but it looks original. IIRC, I just used some foam weatherstripping around the opening and "press fit" the box.

almost impossible to find, but i have a mercury one in my 93 and it looks exactly the same. all i had to do was take the bracket off the old tape player and slide it on the new cd player, and everything else fit right up. I can take a picture if you want

Another one of my sources. If they don't have it your not going to find it.

Yep, they are very difficult to find. Ebay has them from time to time, expect to pay $100+ for used, and 300+ for new. It was a unique offering for 1993, as the illumination color changed for 94+. It was the first year for volume buttons instead of volume ***** as well.

I got one from a 96 car, just has blue illumination instead of green. That's OK, though, I just swap the illumination color over on my EL glo gauges.
