I'm not familiar with any aftermarket T-tops but you could always do a Frankenstein job.

For performance driving, it's really not recommended though, as it weakens the chassis.

great way to install a leak....or two....or three

Run from this idea. The factory T-Tops are notorious for leaks, and its doubtful any effort has been expended to advance the technology since then.

mstng351, I have an '84 GT w/ T-Tops and let me tell you, I wish I could remove them and have a regular hatchback!! I could do it, but because it's a factory anniverasary ed. I'm kinda leaning towards not doing it, even though I'm planning on racing it a bit. Just gotta cage it and do some other strengthening stuff.

I agree with the posts above. I have a friend with a high boost Grand National, his doors do not close anymore because of the chasis flex caused by the T-tops.

if you weren't going to drag race or anything, i'd imagine you could do a good job on one. maybe install some weather stripping or something

lots of work lots of money my frend 86 t top roof was rusted to heck we change the front piller plus he bought all new rubbers and felt trimmings which cost $$$ plus you have to get a t top frame assembly which rivits to the body then you need t tops glass without doner car i think its imposible but if you really want t-top it can be done plus you need t-top doors or modify yours then you need to fix your head liner i did it but never again he loves his car but all in all it still leaks a little nothing impossibe good luck

Just go to a shop that sells and installs sunroofs and put one in. You can do it your self. Just buy the sunroof, mark the place to cut (check your measurements twice or three times because a mistake is not good) and cut the piece, throw the metal in the garbage and install the weather stripping and follow directions that came with sunroof.
