What is the difference between the Ford supercharger made by powerdyne (m-6066-A50) and the one sold directly by powerdyne (k10170-101)?

First off if you havent already converted to mass air you will need to in order to supercharge it, and do you have any links to these kits or just the numbers?

Actually, no you dont. You can run a supercharged speed density car. As a matter of fact, most stand alone engine management systems (ie, FAST and so on) work off of speed density.

Personally, I would go with the powerdyne brand unit. It will most likely be the exact same thing ford is selling, at a much lower price. Ford supercharger kits have always been outrageously priced.

As Joker stated, they should be the same unit and the Powerdyne unit is probably available for a lower price than the FRPP unit.

Well, just think about it for a second Doug. Car's have been being supercharged (old Jaguars etc.) for decades and none of those cars had any sort of mass air system.
