As some of you may know my dad just bought the Mustang I have been talking about for a couple of days. The rearend gear was changed to a 3.73 but they didnt change a bolt in the tranny that controls the speedo. My dad told me to look this up but I have no idea what it is. My cousin said that this has to be corrected for the speedo to read right. Please help because we dont need anymore speeding tickets (thanks to my brother in his Focus).

 

Opps. I made a mistake its actually the speedo gear that needs to be fixed but I dont know anything else about it.

 

call downs ford motorsport, and tell them your car, model and all and tell them u have 3.73 gears and need the correct speeedo gear, they will tell u exactly which one and u can buy it

 

Thanks dude!! I did some searching and found out exactly what I need. Ive got to get a 21 tooth red speedo gear.
