Im just wondering guys I have an 88 mustang gt with speed density but im wondering can I add headers, cold air intake, intake heads and exhaust to a speed density system and if so how much horses and torque will i gain.

Also what pipes are better a x pipe or h pipe whats the difference

X pipe will give you more HP gains, but bot a noticeable amount over the H pipe. The H pipe sounds deep and muscle car like, the X is more raspy and exotic.

Convert to mass air. From what I hear, it's not very difficult.

Probably worth the extra cost. Modding once you go the mass air route will be easier, especially if you get into more serious mods

I know I'm late on this post and I'm also new to the site but not new to the fox and I'm on some other sites that said...doing major mods with speed density ie heads, cam will need a tune after or the thing will run horrible ( basic problem with all SD cars) and also you will need a injector change thus needing a tune even though the tune is still limited. mass is the best route for overall driveability, and getting the most outta your mods. you also asked about Hp gains but didn't give any parts info or if a stick or auto. good example for HP a Mass air car with Trick flow intake, AFR 185s, stage 1 cam and other supporting mods would be right around 300rwhp or just under depending on the dyno and weather.
