This might sound crazy, pour some diesel in the engine tonight or tomorrow and leave it for a day or two. Then turn it a couple of time and start it up. My best friend has a 351 bronco and he bought this engine from a guy that had it sitting in a Lincoln for over 10 years or so. He did this in front of me and started it in about 10min next day. Still running that thing. He is a mechanical engineer with a master in Hick engineering lol... About gas I would just dump the old fuel run some new thru lines and try it. Good luck,

make sure the motor is free like you stated. Drain the gas tank and get a look at the gas. if it look really bad think about pulling the tank and cleaning it and blowig the lines. nothing worse than having bad gas or a crap from teh tank cause you problems you don't need.
