I lost the glass on my passenger side power mirror, I checkd 50 resto and you have to buy the whole mirror and they do not sell just the glass.(dont understand why though) Checkd of few salvage yards with no luck. If anyone has any ideas I'de appreciate it, its driving me nuts! I wonder if you could order the glass from Ford? Any other ideas let me know. Thanks

 

I dunno...I would try checking your local craigslist website... sometimes they have some random stuff like that around where I live. Otherwise, you may have to buy the entire assembly from a place like 50 resto....

 

I think ebay has a bunch of used mirrors. Maybe you could try that.

 

Just get a used mirror assembly...you cannot buy the glass seperately with the backing...if just your glass mirror fell off the backing then you can get a glass shop to cut you a new one, I've done that for some convertible mirrors.

 

Thanks, why did'nt I think of that. Only the glass fell off so I could could trace around the backing on a piece of cardboard have one cut then reglue....duuuh. Sometimes the obvious is'nt so obvious....Gheeesh.
