Hi guys I'm about to start my quest to build a saleen clone out of my 1986 gt..which if I'm not mistaken was the first year of the saleen...my only problem is I don't know anything about the motor or interior that saleen did on the car..I've already ordered the body kit and spoiler..if anyone knows anything else about it please help...I want to make it as close to authentic as possible ...so any advice would be a big help

 

1984 was the first year. And they had special wheels, heard they went 5 lug sometime during the fox years as well.

 

Ok wasn't sure when they started and I've seen the wheels but was there anything special about the motor or interior?

The Enkei Classic 92 wheels are about as close as I've seen in a long while. However, they are only 15".
