This really has nothing to do with 05-09 stangs but it's a cool project, this is where everyone hangs out and I just wanted to share it!


I'm getting back into the drivers seat for 2008 in NMRA. As some of you may know, I've been acting as crew chief for Victor Downs (1st Modular to win Pure Street) and Steve Gifford (All time and current Factory Stock World Record Holder). Well, it's time to drive again. Steve Gifford and I are going into a partnership on a Real Street car. For those that aren't familar with the class, it's a very limited power adder class(no turbos) that go 9.7s to 10.0s. This is the first year they are allowing Modulars to be swapped into a Fox body and we jumped at the chance.

Bradenton (the first race) is in 12 weeks and I'm starting with a stock 4cylinder 93 Mustang. So I have alot of work ahead in a short time. I will be running a 2v (no 4v's allowed) with Nitrous. This is a combo that has never been run so I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Unfortunately I pulled a muscle in my back/neck at some point this weekend so I haven't gotten any further just yet. As I progress, I'll post more pics.
