Possible Steering Problem?
whether i am rolling forward or backing up, with the wheel fully cranked (either way) i feel a shudder (Like a thud thud thud thud, and a bumping feeling) my dad seems to think it could be from having wider than normal tires?
Check inside your tire well where the tire meets the frame if fully turned. If it's rubbing you should see evidence easily on the frame. I had this problem when I changed my steering rack. It only did it when I turned tight. The fix was some additional steering stop spacers that go on the rack at each end inside the rubber boot. They are a cheap and simple little nylon part.
