Went out the other night and when the lights were turned on, none of the interior lights came on. After playing with the dimmer switch a little we got them to come on but, i'm pretty sure its not supposed to be this way. Is the switch bad or what?

 

sounds like the switch is going bad. had that problem on my 86. had to pull out the switch just right to get everything to turn on. and if you hit a big bump the interior lights would go out
