Paint at parts

What's a reasonable price range for a complete paint job of the original color? I know it can vary quite a bit but I was just looking for some idea.

Also, anyone know where I can get a new hatch for my GT? Is anyone making them ?

Thanks

price is hard to nail down, the costly part is the prep. paint/materials is easier to pin down. The prep job will make the paint job. poor prep, the paint job will suffer. prep is labor.

No one makes the hatch. You will have to source a used one or check classifieds, craigslist, etc. stay local shipping will suck.

Rust free hatches are like gold where I'm at. +1 on the advice above - if you can attend a cruise night in your area or are a member of a car club, try asking around and see if someone can point you in the right direction for a quality paint job.

It is up to you. Do not know much about them for daily use and how well they hold up, they are inteded for a drag car and one would also use a fiberglass hood and doors to lighten up the whole car. The bad of just the fiberglass hatch is taking weight off the rear, the fox already is light out back and has traction issues and I don't really know anyone who uses one.

if is my car I would stick with the stock hatch for daily use, the rear hatch makes up alot of the rear structure. The rear hatch takes alot of stress of the rear of teh car when it is going thru turns, etc. In the long run I do not know how that hatch would hold up. sorry cannot really advise you.
