Open Track pics
Just got back from Road Atlanta with the NASA group. We had a weekend of instruction and open track. These guys really know how to put on an event. If you've ever wanted to learn how to drive your car to its limits, in a somewhat safe manner, sign up for one of their HPDE events. I promise you will not be disappointed. You will be assigned an instructor and get classroom time to help you maximize your speed and hit your line.

Looks like one serious track machine!
BTW, the maroon fox-body coupe has the widest tires I have ever seen on the front of a car. Are those 315s in the front????

You dont need a rollcage to run HPDE, if its a hardtop. Just bring yourself, a mechanically-shipshape car, and a M-rated (motorcyle) helmet. N.A.S.A. provides the fun!
They do run VIR (the NASA-VA chapter). NASA-SE will be at Roebling Road next, then Talladega in November
