This is the official first start after my fire. It's come a long way

Thanks a lot guys. You feel good when you think you've done something halfway decent, but the confirmation from others puts you over the top with joy. I appreciate all your comments

I'll try to take more pictures Friday. The car is at my parents house. I may have more pics on my phone, but they don't look as good as these.

Great to hear it's running again! BTW, do you happen to know the paint color code of that blue? It should be indicated on the "door" tag (if still there). thinking about (eventually) repainting my car in a lighter color to either that or maybe Mazda's "Phantom Blue"...

That first engine pic almost made me cry.
Glad to hear it's up and running again.
Turned out way too cool!
It inspired me even more to take my engine/tranny out for some serious detailing like i did with my Mazda when I put on it a new clutch and suspension.

Yup, it still has the tag, I'll try to look at it and give you the code.

Haha, I did cry after I got it home and looked at it. A detailed engine bay is always sweet

Thank you, sir. Hmmmm....lets see, It's quite a list but here we go. We will start with the engine bay first.

Stock bore 302 w/ block and pan painted to match the color scheme of the car.

forged pistons/rods/crank

Twisted wedge 185cc heads

TFS cam 499 lift/221 duration

Trick Flow Track Heat intake re-powdercoated to match the wheels and lower half's color


75mm TB

75MM MAF

42lb injectors

255lph Walbro intank fuel pump

Polished S-trim supercharger @ 10psi

UPR Boost Master intake tube (not installed on the pics)

MAC equal length headers connected to MAC off road H-Pipe connected to Flowmasters of course lol.

Built AOD with 2800 stall converter

Suspension:

Tokico Illuminas on all four corners (5-way adjustable)

FRPP B springs

5-lug conversion

MRT Adjustable LCA'S

31 spline axles and differential

18x9 FR500 w/ 275/35 BFG KDW Drag Radials in the back and 245/35 BFG G-Force KDW-NT's in the front
