New guy here...
Hi to all... Here's my 1985 LX,originaly a 5.0/5 spd, bought it new in June 1985. Still wears it's original
red paint and gray interior, showing 19,000 miles. Always a project car and not a daily driver,no wrecks or winter/wet driving.
Currently has my "retirement" engine build, which is a Dart based 427 Windsor with TKO-600 trans and
built up 9 inch Ford rear. I try to stay a gallop ahead of the new Stangs!
Also own a 2001 Bullitt.

Welcome! That notch is awesome!
Thanks guys! I will take some updated pics, when I can get it outside....about 10 inches of snow around here now!
Here are a couple more pics. The interior and the engine,on the test stand for first fire up.
The 4.125 bore x 4.00 stroke 427,is making around 550 HP or so, with the current "small" hyd.
roller cam, TFS 225 heads and Kooks 1 7/8 headers.

Thanks! The wheels are the 2001 Cobra wheels, with the 245x45x27 Pontenza RE-0R1 tire.
Those are great all around tires, and hooked up well enough for a 12.30@ 117.5 ride thru the 1/4 mile with the old 351W engine....a mild one with only 9 to 1 compression.
However I wish they made those wheels in a 9 inch wide version for the rear.

I'd love to know more about the "cold-air" box you have for the cowl induction... is that homemade, or a purchased part?
You could also search for some of the used NASCAR filter housings, that are made from carbon fiber.
Much lighter in weight, and we know they work well! Have seen them for around $100 bucks.
Welcome and very very nice Fox!
