new 1/4 mile times

Went to the track yesterday with some hoosier quicktime pros (radials), managed to get a 13.94@99.xxmph with about a 4,000 rpm launch. Thats with stock heads, stock cam, stock intake and NOT powershifting.... 3.73s are probably the biggest mod I have so I'm pretty happy with those times

I'm sure the 3.73 and the drag radials had a big impact. considering you aren't even trapping 100mph.

Great driving, do you know what 60 ft time you had?

1.9 60ft

If I'm not to lazy later I'll take pictures of the time slips and post them

(and the drag radials had a huge impact, the only new mod besides those are the underdrive pulleys and my previous best all i could do was 14.44 @ 97.xxmph. I'd always either bog the thing (aluminum flywheel) or if i tried to launch hard the street tires would spin and spin.)

hehe yeah, those hoosiers are pretty amazing; battery is still up front along with A/C and all accessories and those ROH rims are heavier than stock and it still pulls the front end up. I was dumping the clutch at 4,000+ and it dead hooked. My torque boxes are now bent...

sucks about the torque boxes...but if you end up relocating the battery and put in a a/c delete kit, it can only help...

I'll get the torque box plates soon along with the relocation kit but I'm never getting rid of the A/C, its way too valuable in summer.
