I'm looking for the proper wheel offset, back spacing, etc for a set of 15" wheels to fit a 1984 Fox Body. Thanks.

 

Hmmmm....no replies yet. Let's try this a different way. Has anyone put a set of aftermarket wheels on their 1984 Stang (yes the 4-lug variety) and if so what wheels did you choose? I know there aren't too many choices without changing over to the more common 5-lug.

By the way, I'd like to find an old school set of Hayashin wheels so if someone has a set please contact me.

 

Not too familiar with the four-eyed Foxes. Don't know if the spindles/brakes and struts have to be changed to '87-'93 parts (though you will gain a marginally "better" brake setup if you do). If you're talking about getting a set of Hayashi Racing Equipment or Enkei/Riken 15" wheels like the '84-'85 Saleens had - as long as you know they came off a Fox Mustang, it should work. Bolt pattern is 4x4 1/2" or 4x108mm. Best to look at various 15" Mustang wheel offsets and backspacing as wheel width affects clearances.
15" 4-lug wheel choices would normally be Centerlines or similar wheels. 16" 4-lug usually is the Pony wheel. 17" 4-lug tends to be the '95 Cobra R replicas. Replicas of the 2003/4 Cobra versions and Stern/Saleen SC wheels are also available in 4-lug applications.

 

Fox body mustangs I see that still are 4 lug usually have Cobra Rs, 10th anniversary rims, or the Saleen replicas.
