i need to bypass my smog pump on an 89 GT, does anyone know right off hand what size belt is needed just to bypass it without having to put a smog pump eliminator bracket on it?? i need something short enough to pull the idler pulley up so the belt dont rub between it and the water pump.

 

well i had to try different belts until i found one that would work. anyone else needing to do this you'll need a 77" ( 6 groove) belt if your still running a/c and stock pulleys.
